This, that, and the other
Sep. 11th, 2010 09:42 amWell, Zumba was short-lived. I got an e-mail from the instructor yesterday saying that the number of registered students wasn't enough to pay the rent on the space to have class, so the classes are canceled and we'll be reimbursed. I think I'm going to wait until after the Feast to sign up for anything new...I'd like to find another class, but I don't want to sign up for a club membership.
Tonight is Chris's 20th high school reunion, an event which has caused me to point out (many times) that I was 13 when he graduated. : D
In other news, I am just barely keeping ahead of the flood of work. If I had people to do my other work (like house cleaning and grocery shopping), the combo of work and school wouldn't be so bad. But right now I get up, do school work, go to work, come home all relieved that the work day is done...and jump right back into working on the house, helping the kids with things, and the ever-present homework. I know Chris is the same way, so I can't complain--only his isn't schoolwork but rather various side projects and other tasks.
It does make me so thankful for the Sabbath. Just that day where I set aside everything is such a blessing, even though I know I will have to take it up again on Sunday morning. I can start the week with a boost that way.
