I attended a music program for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders tonight (to help corral them and, in general, enjoy goofy not-a-school-day moods). It turns out that I don't actually have to have any real connection to the children in question in order to get weepy at their concerts. I'm so pathetic.

That's okay, I frequently get teary at our church's Christmas concert when the kids sing, and I don't have any connections to any of them. :)
