krikketgirlI decided to use this meme as a way to kick myself back into being better with the posting and commenting.
Hello, I'm Katherine. I was born in 1977. In 1984, I decided that I wanted to work in a library when I grew up.
My family moved around a whole lot; I was public schooled and then home schooled and then public schooled again. I went to four different high schools. I lived in Tennessee and Oregon and Utah and Wyoming and North Carolina and a lot of places within those states.
In 1994, I met Chris Rowland. In 1995, I was baptized, I graduated high school, turned 18, and--dear reader--I married him, and I moved to his home state of Indiana, where I have been spoiled by his family ever since.
In 1996, we had a Boy. In 1999, we had Another Boy. I love them and they make me crazy.
In 2000, I started volunteering at my local public library. Then I started working there.
In 2008, I started attending college full-time. In 2009, I was offered a job as the library clerk at an elementary school, and I cried and prayed and didn't know what to do...and then I took it.
And here I am. I puddle along in my classes and hope to graduate with an Associates in Library Technical Services in 2012. I've been married 15 years. My children crack me up and also make me crazy. I love my job. I wonder what God has in mind for us, because He always has made things interesting and unpredictable.
