Cream in my coffee, dust in my nose
Apr. 2nd, 2010 08:39 amThe problem with working at a school while attending school is (among other things) that, while I have two Spring Breaks, they don't line up. So that means that I get two Spring Breaks without ever having a real break at all. And I know that most of the working population doesn't get a break, so I shouldn't be whining at all. And this break time from work hasn't been bad, except that it's been filled to the brim with other work. I keep waiting for that sense of pride in accomplishment to come roaring in, but so far, nada.
Also, the issue with laundry is that it is never done. It is just metamorphosized into different forms and then redistributed in new areas. It's clean, it's dirty, it's clean, it's put away, it's dirty again. Like a rather depressing cycle of life.
Today's agenda:
It doesn't look like all that much, written out, but it feels rather sweltering. Off to save the world!
