Cream in my coffee, dust in my nose

The problem with working at a school while attending school is (among other things) that, while I have two Spring Breaks, they don't line up. So that means that I get two Spring Breaks without ever having a real break at all. And I know that most of the working population doesn't get a break, so I shouldn't be whining at all. And this break time from work hasn't been bad, except that it's been filled to the brim with other work. I keep waiting for that sense of pride in accomplishment to come roaring in, but so far, nada.

Also, the issue with laundry is that it is never done. It is just metamorphosized into different forms and then redistributed in new areas. It's clean, it's dirty, it's clean, it's put away, it's dirty again. Like a rather depressing cycle of life.

Today's agenda:

  • Trip to post office

  • Trip to bank

  • Buy Oldest Boy dress pants

  • Locate birthday gifts

  • Write Sociology Paper of Apathy

  • Chiropractic appointment

  • Put away laundry

  • Work on project for school

  • Unload pictures from camera

  • Work on Library class project

It doesn't look like all that much, written out, but it feels rather sweltering. Off to save the world!

Our children are in different schools with different spring breaks. We were hoping to take a mini-vacation together, but nothing lined up.

Save a piece of the world for me!

I hear ya on the two different spring breaks. I at least get to sleep in for the one that the kids are on, but unfortunately had to get up early when I was on spring break. :D

That is frustrating about the non-breaks!
