My librarian surprised me with a "Happy New Year" gift of a box of chocolates from her daughter's store. I'm limiting myself to one a day, and this was my first one. Mmmmm.



I am trying to eat more healthily, so this has been my lunch twice this week: yogurt, granola, and fruit.



We have the most amazing parent volunteers. On Thursday, as school was dismissed for the afternoon, a cadre of them was outside scraping the windows of all the staff cars in the parking lot.

Take off the nuts, and that chocolate looks delicious! As does your lunch (minus the granola). :)

And that is really nice about the people scraping others' cars!
