Squealing and Thrashing

Life right now feels like I would imagine trying to capture a greased pig would feel: just when I think I've got a purchase on the silly thing, it wriggles free and hurls itself, squealing and thrashing, in no particular direction but out of my hands. And I feel like I've taken a few hooves to the nose.
