And I'm not talking about the snow, I'm talking about homework. See, I was thinking, "Hey, there's no reason I can't LJ more!" and then school started this week and I remembered that I am now contractually obligated to mind-meld with my computer until my brains leak out my ears.

One of the classes aims to make us use every second of the 9 hours of work/week that we "should" be putting into a college course. So...

  • I work 35 hours/week

  • I am taking 3 classes, so that's 27 hours of work a week (roughly)

  • Plus an hour and a half travel time every week...

  • Plus I'm doing no work at all for 24 hours on Sabbath...

So that's 87.5 hours a week accounted for. There are 168 hours in a week, so this leaves me 80.5 hours total in which to:

  • sleep

  • Do laundry

  • Prepare meals

  • Do at least minimal housework

  • Interact with children

  • Errands

  • Everything else

Which seems like it ought to be enough? But I'm not sure it is.
